CDM 2007 Regulations – Seminar

Overview

New Health and Safety Regulations aimed at all aspects of Construction were introduced in April 2007. The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 served to consolidate existing legislation.

The result is that Clients, Designers, CDM-Co-ordinators, Principal Contractors and Contractors are all subject to changed responsibilities.

Regardless of your role in a Construction project, a detailed understanding of your own responsibilities and what you should expect of others is an essential requirement.

Objectives

The aim of this seminar is to provide a working knowledge of the CDM 2007 Regulations so that you are able to apply them effectively in Construction projects.

By the end of the course, delegates will be able to:

Have a working understanding of the nature and scope of the new CDM Regulations.
Understand their own role and duties in a project as defined by the Regulations.
Discharge their duties with the confidence that they are complying with the new legislation.
The Seminar provides an in-depth study of the Regulations, focussing on those aspects that are of particular relevance to the delegates.
