Access Appraisals

Our services typically include:
Access Statements
Following the advice to project architects, we lead on to preparing an Access Statement for the scheme.
As part of the planning application, an Access Statement is required for all but the very smallest developments. The Statement sets out standards for access and how the design can achieve them.
Access Statements are evolving documents, that are tailored and updated as the design of a scheme is developed.
Access Audits
Preparation of our Access Audits is in accordance with industry best practice and they are tailored to suit the specific needs of each client. A key aspect of our service is the test of reasonableness, as required by the Disability Discrimination Act 1995.
