Who should attend

This course is for managers and supervisors in any sector and any type of organisation. It is designed to bring managers up to speed on the practical actions they need to take in order to handle health and safety in their teams in an effective manner.

Duration

The course comprises 8 modules and is run over 4 or 5 days that include a total of 24 hours face to face contact. A risk assessment is included, which is completed at the workplace. The precise delivery timetable may be negotiable to suit local circumstances.

Materials

All materials are provided for each of the course activities. In addition, each delegate receives a workbook that includes sections for notes and Q&A sessions.

Certification

Delegates who successfully complete the written and practical assessments at the end of the course are awarded an IOSH certificate in Managing Safely.
