Asbestos Analyst / Surveyor (Multiple Locations: Edinburgh, Newcastle, Yorkshire, Stafford, London) - Ref A070
EDP are seeking Asbestos Analysts/Surveyors, to join our successful, experienced and expanding asbestos teams in our various offices. We require self-motivated, high calibre Asbestos Analysts/Surveyors to assist with input to develop both technical excellence and new business and sales opportunities.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be experienced in one or more of the following areas of work:
- Undertaking building surveys and bulk sampling
- Carrying out asbestos monitoring and clearances/ Certificate of Re-occupation
- Preparing accurate reports of your work in standard formats.
- Maintaining and building on good relationship with clients.
This role involves working to our Quality Management Systems and UKAS accreditation within small project teams of asbestos site analysts and surveyors and servicing a range of local and national clients in both the public and private sector.
As a committed and service driven individual you will either have proven ability in the main core areas, or a strong desire to gain this experience.
This is an excellent opportunity with expectations of career progression.
On occasion, our work involves travelling and working at weekends and other unsocial hours as required from time to time. A full driving license is essential. As such full flexibility in working and travel will be required from the successful applicants to enable us to service our clients
Approved overtime and travel and subsistence costs are payable. The successful candidate will be trained in one or more of the following areas of work:

We’re looking for team members who have a “can do” attitude and are willing to learn and progress quickly. We’ll support you to become a qualified asbestos surveyor within 6-9 months of starting.
